As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who joined us for Holiday Break Youth Connect. The night was full of laughter, movement, music, and moments of genuine connection — and it reminded us why creating spaces like this matters so much.
What stood out most wasn’t just the games or the prizes (though those were fun), but the energy in the room. People showed up open, curious, and ready to connect. New friendships formed, groups cheered each other on, and for a few hours, the cold and heaviness of winter felt a little lighter. Seeing a room full of youth, many of whom were meeting for the first time, laugh together and feel comfortable being themselves was incredibly meaningful.
This event was also a reflection of how far our community has come. From our earliest gatherings to now, we’ve seen growth not just in numbers, but in confidence, trust, and belonging. To the new folks we met that night, welcome! We’re really glad you found your way here. And to those who have been showing up all year, thank you for continuing to hold space, bring good energy, and make others feel included.
Holiday Break Youth Connect was our final youth gathering of the year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to close it out. As we head into the holidays, we’re carrying a lot of gratitude with us. For the community, the connections, and the reminder that belonging is something we build together.
Thank you for being part of the night, part of the year, and part of this growing community. We can’t wait to see what we create together in the year ahead.
